Our Senior Footballers wrap up their Group 2 campaign this evening as we take on unbeaten group leaders Mungret St Pauls in Adare at 6:00 PM.

​Sitting in 2nd place on 5 points, the lads have put themselves in a brilliant position to secure qualification for the knockout stages. A big performance tonight in Adare will seal our spot in the next round!

​Let’s get a massive crowd of blue and white over to Adare to cheer on the team!

Rathkeale GAA Club Memorial Day - Save the Date!

Back again due to popular demand, Rathkeale GAA Club are delighted to announce that our Memorial Day is back in memory of all our past Club members who unfortunately are no longer with us.

With fun matches involving our Rathkeale Masters Players (the golden oldies!), with the Shane Hourigan Cup once again up for grabs, a Bord na nOg match in the mix, and a BBQ to look forward to, this promises to be a fun day out for the all the family.

We are also thrilled to have a major treat on the day, as we bring the Liam MacCarthy Cup, Mick Mackey Cup (Munster Senior Hurling) & the Irish Press Cup (All Ireland Minor Hurling) to our field, for great photo opportunities, so bring all the gang!

We are looking forward to a great turn out from both our Masters players, and also our youngsters out there for the Bord na nOg match, all are welcome, just come along togged out on the day, the more the merrier!

So, save the date, Saturday, September 26th from 2.30pm, live from The Bog Garden, and we hope to see many of our Club members, players, both past and present, and supporters there.

Admission is free, it's a celebration day! GAA Abu!

RIP to our Club President - Mr Michael Dillon.

Our deepest sympathies go out to the family of a great clubman, who wore the blue and white of Rathkeale with pride and served the club for many years with distinction, our President Mike Dillon, daughter Orla, sons Brian and Barry, daughters-in-law Madeleine and Jennifer, son-in-law John, grandchildren Derrick, Conor, Kerie, Eadaoin and Jane, and his three great-grandchildren.

The club will form a guard of honour tomorrow as Mike is brought to the church in Rathkeale, please be at the church in club colours by 12:15pm and please wear club colours going to the funeral this evening.

Our Junior A Hurlers are back in action this evening looking to make it three wins from three in the Woodlands House Hotel County Championship!

After two great performances against Garryspillane and Monagea, the lads take on Ballybrown at 6:15 PM. Please note that this fixture is taking place in Foynes.

Nora O'Connor RIP

Rathkeale GAA Club would like to express our deepest sympathies to all the O’Connor family on the untimely passing of Nora O’Connor, beloved wife of James (Connie), loving mother to Sean, Ciara and Sarah.

Everyone involved in the GAA knows that Connie is the heart and soul of our club and we are all there to support James, Sean, Ciara & Sarah at this tough time, may Nora rest in peace 🙏

Well done to Dara Giltenane, Conor O'Dwyer and the Limerick Footballers who enjoyed a great Munster U16 Football tournament on Saturday in Mick Neviile Park. Limerick had a fantastic result beating Kerry on a scoreline of 1-14 to 0-12. Kerry went on to beat Clare, while Clare defeated Limerick on a scoreline of 2-10 to 0-11.

These results meant that Limerick topped the group on score difference and the head to head over Kerry and go on to play Cork in the final next Saturday at 11am on the main pitch in Mick Neville Park.Tipperary will play Kerry at same time on the back pitch.

Well done to Dara and Conor is the final, wishing you and the team well, and hopefully we will have good support for our local boys on Saturday 👏👏💚🤍
