Huge congratulations to all the DBR runners who took on the Dublin City Half Marathon today.
In only its second year, the race is already becoming a brilliant fixture on the calendar, with this year’s event taking place on Sunday 3rd May.🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️
The conditions looked close to perfect, and after a full winter of training and a very wet spring, that felt well earned.🤩✨
Days like this are a reminder that the real reward comes from the commitment shown when nobody is watching, and from quietly going about your business, week after week after week.
Inspired by every runner who showed up, stuck with the process and gave it their all. 🏆🏅

What a day in Dublin 🌧🍂
Months of relentless training, early mornings, late evenings, challenging sessions, and plenty of self-doubt along the way - all paid off on Marathon day.
The wind blew, the rain poured, but nothing could dampen the smiles or the spirit of our runners 🤗
Everywhere I looked there were moments that summed our club up - arms in the air, high fives in the rain, still smiling and our cheerleaders shouting encouragement through the biting cold, pure magic ✨
Massive congratulations to everyone who ran 👏 you were seriously tested by the distance and elements, yet you did not falter! You earned every step of that medal🏅💯
