It is a very active club with high grade facilities and always welcomes new members and visitors. The club has two Class 1 grade courts finished in the latest all weather carpet and has Class 1 Court Lighting that exceeds WTA minim

um lighting levels of 807 Lux. How to get a court: For normal (non-tournament) playing of tennis, club members usually pre-arrange games with other members. The club has a manual sign-in system for the booking of courts. Players MUST use the court booking diary in the clubhouse to reserve courts in advance. In general terms, time allowed on court for singles is 1 hour, and for doubles 1.5 hours. Lights: Check which court you are going to play on, and put the token into the relevant power meter by the entrance gate. Tokens can be purchased from Whoriskey's Spar at 4 euro each. Bringing guests to club: If you have a guest that you want to play tennis with, they must sign in and pay the daily fee. Visitors:

Locking up: Please ensure the clubhouse door is closed and the gate is properly padlocked if you are the last to leave. Coaching: There are a number of coaches in the club. Please ask a member for contact details. You must be a member to avail of coaching.

Are you thinking of some activity time for yourself or family and friends over the summer months? Ramelton Tennis Club is open for membership registration for the year 2026/27. Our membership year runs through to April the following year so plenty of time to get on the courts for the rest of the summer.
