Kildare Performance Hunter Show The Show To Find Ireland's Finest Hunt Horse. Held every March in Punchestown, Co.Kildare, Ireland. For more info see our website link.

Hosted by the Kildare Hunt Club ltd and run by a hunt sub-committee. The show is staged at the home of Irish steeplechase racing; Punchestown Racecourse, the show is held annually in March to find Ireland's finest hunt horse. There are three classes, "Huntsman" - jumping obstacles approx 130cm high followed by "Hunter" and "Sidesaddle" both classes jumping obstacles approx 100cm high. Obstacles in

clude gates, stud rails, hedges, banks, drains and wire. Entries are limited in each class and are only taken on line, individual start times are given to riders approx a week before the show.

2026 Results. With thanks to all who competed and congratulations to our winners below. With thanks to our Judges, Kildare members who put in a long day. The crews of St John Ambulance Raheny who's patience was tested for our over run on time. Please Note: We are charging €5 per car, so pack them in! Tomorrow is to be windy & cold, with rain probable, so wrap up well and the clocks change too. Directions: As you enter the main gate of Punchestown Racecourse, follow the main driveway towards the stand entrance, on your left you will observe a tall T.V. camera tower, follow the gravel road on your left towards it. At the tower, to its left there are a set of double gates set in stud railing, drive through them and keep right following the gravel road straight down (approx 400mts) into a dip, which then rises into the parking area

The Kildare Hunt plays no part in the sale of horses but are happy to provide contact details to interested parties. Otherwise, Riders times & Maps will be posted later next week.
