The Lane Swimmers are taking on an extraordinary challenge in support of the PSLC fundraiser: eight swimmers, each completing the nearly 9km open-water swim from Lambay Island to Low Rock.

The Lane Swimmers are a group of around 40 people who have supported the PSLC for many years. Now, with the help of an incredible volunteer support team, they are going even further to help us close the remaining funding gap and reopen the pool.

We’ll be revealing much more over the coming weeks, including the swimmers, their preparations and some genuinely mind-blowing facts about the challenge ahead.

After 45 years of providing a sports and leisure facility at the heart of our community, we are turning to you for support. To all our members and visitors, past and present, we ask for your help in reopening our swimming pool. The pool is a vital part of our facility and supports more than 50% of our club's workforce.

There are many ways you can help, from making a donation of any amount to taking part in sponsored activities or exploring our brand sponsorship packages, which will be launching soon.
