The men and women’s teams had a great night out last night. Glad to see so many show up to join in the fun. Congrats to all the well deserved award winners too 👏

A huge thanks to Clancy's Athy for hosting us. The staff were amazing and accommodating from start to finish. A perfect venue for parties and we’ll definitely be back for our next one.

Athy Archers delivered an outstanding performance to claim the Division 2 Shield Final, overcoming Portlaoise Green in a thrilling and hard-fought clash.

In a game full of intensity and determination, Athy Archers held their nerve to secure a decisive 72–51 victory. Every player played their part, showing true teamwork and resilience from start to finish.

With an excellent display of defence in the final quarter, limiting Portlaoise to 4 points, solidified Athy's win. Also congrats to Shane San Augustin being awarded MVP with composure on ball and commanding the flow of game

A well-deserved win and a fantastic achievement for the club, for basketball returning to the town in over 10 years and first piece of silver in iver 20 years.

The club would like to thank everyone who supported the squad through & and looking forward to more wins in the future.

Our boys session this week will not be going ahead tomorrow! Instead boys sessions will continue as normal from May 9th!

Apologies for any inconvenience caused, however for anyone looking for basketball action this weekend, our men’s squad compete in their Shield semi-final on Saturday!

Tip off is at 3.30pm in St. Mary’s Hall Portlaoise, we would be infinitely grateful to see some of our archers there in support!

As the 2025/26 season draws to a close, Athy Archers prepare for their final fixture, facing in what promises to be an exciting and competitive match.

Both teams, entering their first year of competition, have shown tremendous growth, dedication, and sportsmanship throughout the season. This concluding game will be a celebration of the hard work, progress, and community spirit that define both teams.

We invite all members, supporters, and friends to join us for this final showdown and help us finish the season on a high note. Let’s cheer on the Archers as they aim to end their debut year with a win!

Game Day Announcement

Athy Archers travel to Ballyroan to face the Bluestars in the reverse fixture of the penultimate game of the season. With only two games remaining, every game counts to finish the season on a strong note.

The team has been building great momentum and will be looking to replicate their intensity from the previous meeting, this time on the road. Expect fast-paced action, disciplined defence, and plenty of heart from our squad.
