Move Pilates is proud to host Pi Studios fully comprehensive 600-hour Classical Pilates Teacher Training program. Stewarded by Holly Murray & her team of highly experienced Teacher Trainers.

This in-depth programme offers a complete study of the core classical material developed by Joseph Pilates, through the lineage of Romana Kryzanowska. Through intensive, hands-on training, you’ll explore the full repertoire across all apparatus.

This is your opportunity to study the original method in its full form, across all apparatus and develop the skill, precision, and confidence to teach at the highest level as a third generation teacher.

1 Day Workshop - Bookings Now Open! ⭐️

We are delighted to welcome guest instructor Daphne Peña New York Pilates to Move Pilates for a 1 day workshop on Sunday 26th July.

Daphne is also offering limited one-to-one sessions on Monday, along with observation opportunities where you can watch Daphne teach a private session.

Sunday Schedule :
The workshop will run from 12pm – 5:30pm and is open to both teachers and Pilates enthusiasts.

The day will begin with Romana’s old-school Mat Pilates, followed by:

✨ Workshop 1 — Pre-Pilates

✨Workshop 2 — Tune Your Teaser

Learn from the best, trained and certified in the late 1990’s by Romana at Drago’s in New York. She was one of the first people to bring Classical Pilates to the UK in 2000 when she opened her studio, New York Pilates London.

She has also worked with Bob Liekens, Juanita Lopez, Cynthia Lochard and Dorothee Vandewalle. Further and continuing studies having trained with with Jay Grimes, Brooke Siler and Kathryn Ross Nash.

As teachers, it’s so easy to get lost in the teaching and slowly drift away from our own practice.

I hear it all the time in the studio:
“I just don’t have time to practice”

Personal practice and attending weekly classes is what keeps me connected, not just to the movement, but to the experience of being a student. A training course gives you the foundations, but it’s only the beginning. The real learning happens through practice, repetition, curiosity and time.

Practice, practice, practice. ✨
Not because it suddenly becomes easier, but because we continue to deepen our understanding and give back to ourselves. Everything I’m feeling, shows up in my practice.

Making time for my own practice is essential and it allows me to teach from experience, not just from memory.

Having great mentors is a must! Thank you for today’s practice and for always inspiring me ☺️

Beginner Reformer classes move at a slower pace with more guidance, helping you to understand the foundations and the 9 intro order exercises, allowing you to build confidence on the Reformer.
