ch & Deadlift. This is then followed by a Metabolic Conditioning Drills, with the dreaded 'finisher' at the end of each workout. METABOLIC CONDITIONING EXPLAINED:

Metabolic conditioning or "metcon" refers to conditioning exercises intended to increase the storage and delivery of energy for any activity. Metabolic conditioning is conditioning the muscles to better use the fuel delivered to them by improving the efficiency of the different metabolic pathways. Health, studies have now shown that anaerobic conditioning may also condition the heart to a same level as aerobic training alone. This is why high-intensity interval training is the principle method of metabolic conditioning. FINISHER EXPLAINED:

Every once in a while, you need to bully your body into growing. Others call it "sending the grow or die message" to the body. This is where finishers come in. Whether you're a competitive athlete , or just a regular Joe who wants to have some fun, you gotta do finishers every once in a while. These "finishers" are performed at the end of the routine and are usually total body workouts that leave you either puking or lying on the floor for minutes afterwards. These movements are also beneficial to your training by improving your mental toughness. They help you push through pain barriers during regular training by "training" your mind to cope with pain. Finishers remind you that you can really give a lot more in your training and that you were just being a wuss. These movements also provide good cardiovascular work (you'll see after you finish one).

Special thanks to Gale in .alley where we had our coaches meal and followed on in , thanks again for his hospitality and generosity. We had some very deserved winners! And it was great to see some long serving members get recognised for the impact they have on our little community!
