As a part of the bike week Initiative by Laois county council Trilogy Triathlon Club are hosting a fun bike/ run evening in Emo court seating area next tuesday the 12th May @ 7pm,we are inviting members of the Public and current and former members to come along and enjoy the evening,there will some well earned refreshments and banter afterwards🏃‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃🚴☕️

𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗔𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧: 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗟𝗮𝗼𝗶𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗗

Trilogy Triathlon Club regrets to inform you that owing to the ongoing fuel protest, the Gardaí today advised us to postpone tomorrow's TriLaois triathlon. The redeployment of Garda support and the added volume of traffic diverting through Portlaoise has increased the Health and Safety risk on our bike and run routes.

As safety is our main priority, it is only right that we reschedule our race.

We will be in contact in due course with the rescheduled date.

📣 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 📣

Please note that the Race Brief has been released to all athletes. All information and further info regarding race rules are included in this document. It is imperative that all participants make themselves familiar with its contents.

Swim waves and start times have also been released. We ask all participants to please be patient as race week is a very busy time for everyone on our hardworking race committee.

Registration is open on the morning of the race at Portlaoise Leisure Centre. Registration for waves 1-4 is open from 6:45am-8:00am, while waves 5-7 can register from 8:00am-9:00am. Registration closes at 9:00am sharp.

It is also imperative that you have Triathlon Ireland membership, either Full Membership or One Day Membership. If you do not have Triathlon Ireland membership, you will not be allowed to participate in the race. We recommend purchasing your One Day Membership as soon as possible.

We cannot wait to welcome you to Portlaoise on Sunday.

We are on the countdown to TriLaois on April 12th, 2026, in Portlaoise Leisure Centre. We have a small number of entries remaining.

Our race lineup includes:
● Sprint (750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run)
● Try-a-Tri (400m swim, 20km bike, 5km run)
● Relay races (400m/750m swim, 20km bike and 5km).
● Junior

TriLaois is a race that's suitable for complete beginners as it's pool based and well marshalled, as well as the seasoned triathlete. It's at the perfect time of the year to kick your season off and get a good measure of fitness to push into all races beyond. We're also located in the heart of the midlands, just a short trip off the motorway.
