A few of our Masters players have been chosen to represent Ireland at the FIBA Masters Open in Hellas, Greece this July.

The women are running a fundraiser for their team and are hosting a 3v3 U15s boys and girls competition on Saturday May 23rd.

𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲:
Minimum of 3 games guaranteed
Lots of prizes on the day
Location: Pipers Hill, Naas, Co. Kildare

Hard luck to our M40s who bowed out graciously against a strong North Munster side. We are very proud of each player and coach Kojack!

Our M40s hit the road tomorrow where they meet North Munster in the quarter finals of the National Cup.

𝗔 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝗶𝗹𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗻𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀🏀

Our F50s fought their way to the Cup Final, finishing as runners-up after a fantastic campaign, while our M40s were runners-up in the Shield Final after a great run of very competitive games.

But Masters basketball is about so much more than results. It’s about still being able to lace up the runners, compete hard, and share the court with teammates and friends who love the game just as much as you do.

Weekends like this remind us what the Masters community is all about great basketball, great people, and the joy of still playing the sport we love.

We are so proud of our two teams this weekend, a big thank you to our wonderful hosts at Kilkenny Masters until next time!

Kilkenny Masters Round-Up

Our 40s men are 1 win from 2 after today’s outings (with the second game v Wexford Blazers, providing nail biting entertainment)

Our 50s women kept a clean sheet today with two wins in their group, which puts them straight into the cup final.

Our women play the Cup Final at 12.50pm tomorrow in O’Loughlins with our men playing in the Shield semi-final at 10.20am in O’Loughlins.
