Very well done to these two mighty women, Aisling Corkery & Noreen Corkery (assisted by Sarah O Shea and others during the fundraising campaign) on another fantastic effort on Saturday morning. On this occasion in the region of €6•5k was raised in support of critical mental health services for the community. Thanks to all from the club who took the time to participate in and support this great cause.

Reminder: The Karate Club supports this event each year, in memory of former club member Michael O'Connell. Noreen Corkery & Sarah O'Shea (Michael's Sister) who both also have a long history with the karate club are again involved in organising this years event. Great evening yesterday at the Ferry Arms where Passage West Karate Club kicked-off its fundraising efforts for the SKDUN World Championships, which takes place in Italy in October. Thank you to Christy Burke for supporting our efforts again this year and for facilitating a great opening event for our junior athletes 🇮🇪🥋🏆♥️

Tonight at training we celebrated the success of our athletes, at the Southwest Ireland International Karate Championship which took place in Killarney at the weekend. Our 21 competitors won in excess of 40 international medals, which resulted in Ijka Ireland receiving an overall winners award. Thanks to Sensei Charles Neri and his team for organising a really enjoyable day and for the hospitality extended to all who made the trip down from Passage West Karate Club. . After class tonight we made a presentation to Sensei Mick in recognition of his continued leadership of this great club. Oss .
