We have reached the final of the league cup after overcoming Lisnagry on a scoreline of 6-1.
Pallas goals from Josh McLoughlin (x3), Conor Kenny, Ryan O’Connor and Denis Blackmore.
The final will take place Sunday 14th June at 2pm in Jackman Park 🔵⚪️

𝐔𝟏𝟐 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 🏆
An epic battle vs Croom Utd this evening in Elton.
It finished 2-2 in normal time thanks to 2 well-executed goals from the ever-threatening Shane Fennessy.
Into extra time and with 30 seconds left on the clock, and penalties on the horizon, Andrew Hayes picked up the ball on the left wing, floated an inviting cross towards the back post and Eli Gleeson leaped to head precisely into the left corner!
Well done to both sets of players on an excellent performance where it really could have gone either way.

A second hard-fought win in the space of 6 days vs Pike Rvs sees us progress to the cup semi-final where we will face Lisnagry FC next Sunday 7th of June at 10.30am in Castleconnell

𝐔𝐧𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚 - 𝐮𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬!

Pallas United edge Charleville on penalties after breathless U13 Division 1 Cup Final.
After 80 minutes of end-to-end action it went to penalties after the sides couldn’t be separated with 3 goals each. Pallas goals coming in the form of an early free-kick scored by Andrew Hayes, an edge-of-the-box strike from Danny Stokes and a top-bins peach from Eli Gleeson to earn a draw late in normal time. 20 minutes of nervy extra time resulted in a stalemate and it finally took 20 penalties to separate these evenly matched sides in Holycross this afternoon. Alex Fennessy calmly saved Charleville’s 10th penalty and Jake O’Connor bravely stepped up to slot the sudden-death winner into the top left corner!
Commiserations to Charleville who also put in an excellent performance throughout the match, and with just 1 miss out of 20 penalties it was always going to be a tough one to take for either side. Credit to both teams for their efforts in very entertaining match 👏👏👏👏

Our U13 Boys are back in action in the Division 1 Cup Final tomorrow when they go up against Pallas United FC in Holycross. After winning the shield play-off earlier in the week, spirits are high and hopefully the boys will push on to add a Cup trophy to the collection. Best of luck to all involved tomorrow.
