We did it again! 1️⃣1️⃣

Another year done and dusted here at Coach’s Fitness Centre with lots of new friends made, achievements accomplished and reasons to celebrate 🥳 🎉 🍾

Thank you to each and every one of you who has made this possible and supported my business along the way. Whether it’s been consistently showing up here for PT, signing up for Online Coaching, wearing the Coach’s Crew merch, engaging on social media with likes and comments… or even just dropping in cakes or coffees. None of it goes unnoticed and it is all massively appreciated!

Another Transformation Tuesday… yes, another.

I *was* in great shape until I wasn’t. I had some battles, mental and physical. I suffered losses, I struggled, but most wouldn’t have known.

In fact, if I mentioned wanting to lose body-fat or get into shape to anyone, the answer was always “Ah sure you don’t need to, you’re grand” but the thing is we all face our own battles. We can all be our own harshest critics, as well as worst enemies.

Eventually in April pneumonia took me to rock bottom physically, I was already there mentally since January. I knew I had to bounce back. From choosing the easy option, to taking the opposite action. From struggle to strength. From allowing myself to wallow in mediocrity and self pity to being the best version of myself, day after day, consistently.

What an amazing anniversary celebration! Coach’s Fitness Centre is 10 Years Old 🥳🎂

Ten incredible years, hundreds of wonderful friends, thousands of unforgettable memories.

Thank you so much to each and every person that has been part of the journey over the last decade.

An open invite in an incredible location ( ) meant for a truly unique evening of celebrations that really highlighted the great sense of community and friendship enjoyed by myself and all of Coach’s Crew! Unfortunately not everyone could make it, but that just means we have to keep going and keep creating more reasons to celebrate 🥳🍾🎂

Blue Monday; the most depressing day of the year. Well if you believe that, I’ve got some bad news. Tomorrow is f*ckin’ Tuesday and Tuesdays are always the worst day of the week!

But do we believe it? Do we buy into it? Or do we just create our own outlook and happiness each and every day of the year. If you don’t do the latter, you should.

Do your actions reflect your goals? Your values? Do you even know what your goals or values are? What brings you joy, meaning, hope… and what are you doing to have an abundance of these in your life?

January is almost over already, so if you don’t know what you want from this week, this month, this year… then you will not be able to take the actions to achieve it. If you aren’t taking actions in line with your goals, they will always remain a distant dream. A far away form of delayed happiness you keep telling yourself you will reach one day, and then everything will be ok. Will be amazing. Don’t delay anymore. Right now is the best time to go after any goal, little or large.

Blue Monday, Sh*tty Tuesday, even TGI Friday… the day doesn’t matter. There will never be a perfect day or time to start other than right now. You don’t need to read this, then jump up and run a 5k, invest in crypto, start writing a book. You don’t have to physically chase your goal immediately, but you do need to take action towards identifying it, naming it, speaking it out loud, writing it down, committing to it, planning your first step. Right now can start from your bed, the couch, a car park. Right now if you don’t know what your goals are or values are, your action can simply be popping me a message to arrange a consultation.

Make your actions speak far louder than your words and let them tell the whole world what your goals are!

7 National Championship titles won as a coach, across different sports and countries.

6 of my clients inspired to return to education, change career paths and open gyms under my mentorship.

5 New qualifications and different areas of expertise gained; S&C, Life Coaching, Executive Business Coaching & Mentoring, Coaching Psychology, Mindfulness Practice.

4 Years caring for my Dad, Laurence in BCNU.

3 Years injured and unable to exercise, followed by a complete self rehabilitation and a return to full health & fitness.

You don’t have to be extreme; you have to be consistent.

Staying on track and staying consistent is hard, but so is feeling tired, having no energy, not finding clothes you feel comfortable in, not being confident in how you look.

Move a little more, eat a little cleaner, do it consistently over and over and over again most of the time and you WILL get results.

Meal prep isn’t boring, or repetitive or restrictive. It is the biggest and best self care routine you will ever undertake!

Always choose consistency over perfection! • In a couple of months it won’t even matter to you how tough it was, how long it took, the fact that you stayed in on a Bank Holiday Sunday so you could train on the Monday. • Stay focused. Results happen over time, not overnight! Don’t underestimate yourself or your potential. • Winning isn’t for everyone!

Another year, another qualification and another step up the ladder in the NFQ
A big thanks to for facilitating my professional development over the last few years.

Having successfully achieved a First Class Honours in Coaching Psychology, I decided to advance to studying Mindfulness Research, once again attaining a First Class Honours.

One more step up and I’ll be Dr. Coach

Delighted to say I will now be engaging in more mindfulness training, life & career coaching as well as coaching psychology.

Coaching Psychology applies behavioural, cognitive and social sciences to enhance one’s life, work performance and general wellbeing; focusing on goal achievement and potential fulfilment.
