Kate played super golf finishing 2 under on today’s round.

Best wishes to our own Kate Dillon who tees off tomorrow Thursday in the Irish Women's Open at the K Club.

This is a great honour for her, she is ranked 2nd of all the Irish amateur women golfers who are playing in this prestigious competition.

Kate's tee time tomorrow is at 2,09pm which means her Friday tee time will be more likely early in the morning.

There is live coverage of the competition on RTE television over the four days.

Again best of luck Kate,we are all very proud of your achievements here in Oughterard Golf Club.

This weekend we celebrated our President Mr John Grant.

Both ladies and men took to the course from Friday to Sunday.

Today was the final day of our second Golf for All camp this summer. Following on from the massive success of last year camps were run this year at the end of July and again this last week. Run with the help of the Galway Down Syndrome Branch and the parents of those involved and delivered by Derek and his team. An amazing bunch of golfers. Well done to all! 👏❤️

Today we had Lady Captain Naoimh O’Dwyer’s Captains Prize in glorious sunshine.

For the first time in many years this was played over 24 holes as the top 21 ladies went back out onto the golf course this evening for the final 6 hole playoff.

To cap off a fantastic day the overall winner was 84 yr old Ann Walsh from Rosscahill. Seen here with her family and also her regular playing partner Marie McAlinney.

What a super achievement. Well done Ann and congrats to Naoimh on a fantastic day.
