Especially when they had a visit from Galway’s dolphins 🐬🐬

🌅 What a morning on Galway Bay

An early start, and a beautiful sunrise shared together for Darkness Into Light in support of Pieta House.
Thank you to all our club members who joined the Sunrise Sail, helped on the water, and supported such an important cause.

From the quiet moments before dawn to breakfast back in .ireland , it was a memorable and meaningful way to welcome the day. 💛⛵

Happy 100th Birthday to David Attenborough — a voice that has guided generations to look more closely at the natural world, and to protect it with care and curiosity.

For young sailors especially, his stories remind us that the sea is not just a place to race across, but a living world to respect. Every tide, every coastline, and every creature beneath the hull becomes more meaningful because of the wonder he brought into our homes.

His lifelong passion for exploration, conservation, and adventure continues to inspire young people to head out on the water with courage, humility, and a deeper connection to our planet.

Fair winds, Sir David — and thank you for a century of inspiration.

Join us this Saturday morning ( late Friday night ;) ) for our Darkness Into Light Sunrise Sail in aid of Pieta House.

⛵ RIB on the water: 4:15am
🌄 Dawn breaks: 5:00am

We’ll sail across Galway Bay to welcome the sunrise together before returning to Renville for breakfast at .ireland

A special morning of reflection, community, and support for an important cause. Looking forward to seeing club members on the water. 💛
