Mental Strength wins Fairyhouse bumper in great style!

Paul Bannon gave Mental strength a great front running ride and judged the pace to perfection to win the bumper by a comfortable 2 1/2 lengths.

It was Mental Strengths first run since March 2013 where he pulled up in a pt to pt, but he showed plenty of pace and staying power, and is one to really look forward to in the future.

Congratulations to Paul and winning owner Pearse Callaghan.

Ongenstown Lad wins by a nose in Listowel!

After almost 4 years since his last win, Ongenstown Lad battled hard to get the better of a three-way photo finish with Divine Rhapsody and Slygufftou.

Robbie Colgan gave him an excellent ride to settle him behind the bunch and produce him with a driving finish.

Ongenstown lad has been a great servant , this been his 6th win over hurdles for us , congratulations to Oliver and all connections.

Win a racehorse in training!

Dunderry GAA are holding a draw for a racehorse in training for the 2015/2016 national hunt season.

Curraghmore girl is a 5 yr old bay mare by Darsi who is a half brother to the improving Coologue . Curraghmore Girl won her maiden point to point in Oldtown in March by an impressive 10 lengths, ridden by Jamie Codd who quoted she was 'a very genuine mare and a super jumper who should perform very well on the track'.

She is now back in training after her summer break and looks great.
