Our 10 girls 👏👏
Pictured here are the six Tipperary U10 mini camogie club teams alongside Uachtarán Brian Molloy in the historic surroundings of Semple Stadium, Thurles, during the halftime exhibition of camogie by these young club girls in the Senior Tipperary v Cork Camogie Championship clash. With over one hundred young players proudly wearing their club colours, this photograph represents the vibrant future of camogie across the county.
The significance of this occasion cannot be overstated. Semple Stadium is regarded as the spiritual home of hurling and one of the most famous GAA grounds in Ireland.
The presence of Camogie Association President Brian Molloy makes the occasion even more meaningful. As Uachtarán, he is the highest-ranking representative of camogie nationally, and his participation in this photograph highlights the importance of grassroots development and the central role that young players play in the future of the sport. His support and recognition of these girls sends a powerful message that every camogie journey begins at underage level and that their dedication, and love for the game are valued at the highest level.
For the girls themselves, standing shoulder to shoulder with the President of the Camogie Association in Semple Stadium is a proud moment for them, their families, coaches and clubs. The smiles throughout the photograph reflect the joy, friendship that make camogie such a special sport.
It showcases the strength of underage camogie in Tipperary and serves as a reminder that today’s U10 players are tomorrow’s club stars, county representatives and ambassadors for the game. It is a photograph that captures pride, ambition and the bright future of camogie in Tipperary💙💛
