Cabin fever well and truly had taken over. Needed a 7k jog to shake off the cobwebs.

Wrapped up, appropriate footwear and away I go.

Tis the 1st weekend of the new year so why not start it off with some muddy hill runs.

A great 7k in some lovely conditions this morning.

Some tips for muddy Hill runs.
1. A good pair of socks to keep your feet clean (see pic)
2. Dark enough so you can't see the mud you are running through
3. Some warm water to was the mud from you and your runners

I am so privileged to be able to work out with these two mad things, always supporting and pushing me all the time. Great to have great family.

So with 9 weeks to go until the two sisters Barbelle & PropShopper step it up again to smash out another powerlifting competition with the Irish Drug Free Powerlifting Association (IDFPA) in February, we decided to do a 1RM to see where our numbers are before we knuckle down into some serious training.

We did a 1RM on Bench/Deadlift/Squat

Results Below:

Deadlift 90KG
Squat 60KG

Laura:
Bench 55kg
Deadlift 110kg
Squat 70kg

Now onto some serious training to get ready for the 4th February
