Newcastle West Town got their season underway today with a trip down to Pallaskenry to play Dromore in the League Cup group stage. It was a very even first half.
But Newcastle West started going up through the gears in the second half putting Dromore under pressure. Newcastle West Town hit the post and the crossbar, the pressure payed late in the second half with a strike from Yuri.
It was enough for Newcastle West Town to take the points in the League Cup group stage.

Our new season has kicked off ⚽️
We would kindly encourage a few housekeeping rules!

When entering and exiting the Demesne and Woodfield, particularly the Demesne, please slow down ✋️ as there is young children entering and exiting the pitch and especially when it's winter time.

Pitch development is well underway in our Demesne pitch, please exercise caution ⚠️ when entering and exiting the astro turf area.

Membership link is now live and the link is on our page. For insurance purposes and Club registration fees, all players are required to have their membership paid up before a match or training is played.

We have a bottle recycle ♻️ bin for used plastic bottles and the normal bin for general rubbish to keep our 2 pitches tidy.

Thank you for your cooperation and please feel free to reach out to any Committee Member if you like to volunteer or join our Committee, we would be delighted to talk to you.
Our Club is growing yearly.
