Traveller & Roma Employment Officer, West Limerick Resources CLG, NCW

Under the Traveller and Roma Local Employment Initiative (TRLEI) Pilot Scheme, the Traveller & Roma Employment Officer will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team who will focus on community outreach to support members of the Traveller and Roma community with accessing local employment, education, training and enterprise opportunities. Services will include (but are not limited to) one-to-one employment supports, outreach, advocacy and referral services as well as identifying further learning needs, training opportunities and enterprise supports. This role will focus on building trust with clients and breaking down barriers to employment and training.

Particulars of Employment:

An initial fixed term contract for a full-time position (35 hours) is offered up to December 31st 2026 (Continuation subject to funding). Remuneration: €38,552 per annum (pro-rata). The position will be based in Newcastle West with flexible outreach through West Limerick Resources existing offices and community-based locations.
