🎾 Men’s B Final 🎾

🏆 Darragh Dalton retains his title 🏆

A Cracking evening at Tennis 🎾 Club for B Final, 2 finalists from last year,battling it out for Brand new 🏆 on display,supplied by main man Tom Ruddle❤️ Both players starting well and hitting amazing shots 2-2 ,John holds serve to go 3-2 and pushes on to break and take commanding lead, rallies were exciting and fierce 👌 6-2,John takes first set! Very hard to keep champions down and so it proved as Darragh comes out of blocks in second set 🔥, getting to 5-1 and securing Set, roared on by crowd they decide to take it to a Third set,after all this is NCW Open not some park league final so on we go, with momentum swing left and right and that was just the balls 🎾 both showing their shot making ability and movement to great effect and proving age is just a number 😜 after just under 2 hrs,Dara severs it out to seal the 🏆 win ,club President Mike presenters Throphies and Roll on 2027 for Amazing tournament 👍

🟢 Men’s B Final 🟢

Our Men's B final is taking place tomorrow evening (Monday 7th of September) at 6.30pm between John Donovan and Darragh Dalton at the tennis courts, a repeat of last year's final. Members and non-members are very welcome to come. It should be a great match 🎾👍

What a Final to our 2026 Mens NCW Tournament 🏆

The 2 best players fighting it out to be Club Champion, on a warm,sunny Monday evening with a large crowd forgoing the stars of The US Open to enjoy Tennis closer to home 😎 A tight first set with both players serving very well 🎾 playing aggressive Tennis,drop shots,smashes, passing shots all on display, locked at 5-5 Andrew broke and served out first set in style for 7-5!both players sweating with huge effort and close games 👏 Second set and early break by Andrew,1 up,kasper replies with a break of his own, 👊1-1, Andrew pushed hard to 3-1,kasper replies with great hold for 3-2, kasper has break point to get to 3-3 but Andrew rallies to take it 4-2 instead, pushed on by Cheers of crowd both players excelled and gave amazing final ,Andrew winning 6-2 to take Win And Cup🏆

Mixed social tennis on Wednesday 7-8.30pm. if you haven't joined the club you can pay €5 per session and it is a great way to try out the club.
