After a captivating ending to the NFL season last night with the Chiefs claiming their 3rd Super Bowl title, focus turns back to the domestic game.

You are invited to the Cill Dara Crusaders Rookie Day this Sunday 19th February in Newbridge College.

Our first home game of the season is confirmed for the 5th of March against the Donegal / Derry Vipers at Newbridge College.

The excitement is already building for this battle and all support is welcome.

The 2022 Crusaders Most Valuable Player:
Craig Dooley

What a season this man had. Craig had 11 sacks this season and although you can hear him coming from a mile away with his Robocop knee, he always seems to get to the quarterback.
Craigs willingness to learn while wanting to get his teammates to the highest level is 2nd to none. Although you don't want him running at you, there are very few guys nicer in AFI.
Craig is a testament to the Dooley family with himself and Kyle dominating on the pitch, Ken leading on the sidelines and of course Colette making sure everyone keeps a level head. This award of course credits Craig for a brilliant season but also the Dooley's overall.

Congratulations to Craig Dooley.

The 2022 Crusaders Player's Player of the Year:
Luke Carey

It's that man again!
As voted by his teammates, Luke Carey was recognised as their player of the year. Luke delivered some huge performances especially against Trinity and in both UL games this season.
The talent that this guy has is exceptional and he is only 20! He will only get better and the league should watch out.
It has been a brilliant year for Luke and he wants to push on further next year and help lead the team to glory.
With his big brother Mark his lead blocker under centre (who has consistently pushed the youngling for years), Luke will continue to have lanes opened up for him in the 2023 season.

Congratulations to Luke Carey
