Motorsport Ireland National Rally Championship The Irish National Rally Championship, Takes crews all over Ireland for the 8 rounds of the Championship Motorsport Ireland Rally Championship Rounds for 2022.

ROUND 1 - Mayo Stages March 6th. Region One. ROUND 2 - Birr Stages Rally April 3rd Region One. ROUND 3 - Monaghan Stages Rally. April 24th Region One. ROUND 4 - Carlow Stages Rally May 15th Region Two. ROUND 5 - Limerick Circuit of Munster Rally Jun 5th Region Two. ROUND 6 - Tipperary Stonethrowers Rally July 17th Region Two. ROUND 7 - Galway Summer Rally August 28th Region One. ROUND 8- Donegal Harvest Rally October 8th Region Two.

Josh Moffett crowned national rally champion for fifth time

Josh Moffett has officially been confirmed as the Triton Showers Motorsport Ireland National Rally Champion for the fifth time, following his victory on the recent Galway Summer Rally.
With the results and points now declared final after round six, Moffett cannot be caught regardless of what happens in the remaining rounds in Donegal or Tipperary.

This adds a fifth crown to his previous national championship wins in 2019, 2022, 2023, and 2024.

While the drivers’ crown is wrapped up, the co-drivers’ title is still wide open as Moffett’s regular navigator Keith Moriarty missed the rescheduled Monaghan Rally.
That gap leaves him facing a showdown with Shane Quinn’s co-driver Stephen Reynolds and others in Donegal if he is to join his driver on the top step at the awards night in Carlow this November.
