⛳ WE’RE HIRING | GENERAL MANAGER

Royal Tara Golf Club is seeking an accomplished and commercially minded General Manager to lead the Club through its next stage of development.

With 27 holes, approximately 1,400 members and a major investment programme underway, this is an exciting senior leadership opportunity.

We’re looking for someone with strong leadership, commercial awareness, excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to member and visitor experience.

Golf experience is an advantage, not a requirement.

🏆 Newsam Cup 2026 🏆

A huge congratulations to Greenore Golf Club on winning the Newsam Cup after a fantastic and fiercely contested with Rathcore Golf Club which had 3 matches that went all the way to the 19th hole! ⛳️👏

From a sporting point of view, it was a brilliant day of golf, with both teams battling right to the very end. Credit to everyone involved for the great spirit in which the match was played.

A huge thank you to Larry O’Rourke for all his hard work in organising the event and ensuring the day was such a success.

Congratulations once again to Greenore on a well-deserved victory, well played to both Greenore & Rathcore GC. 👏🏆

Best of Luck to & Greenore Golf Club play in the Newsam Perpetual Cup today

The Captain Newsam Perpetual Cup is an annual inter-club competition, organised by Royal Tara for clubs in the North Leinster region. The Cup was presented by Lady Mountcharles in memory of her husband, Captain C. W. Newsam who had been a member of the Club for many years. The Cup was first played for in 1967 when Rush Golf Club were the winners.
