Another week on the links and another week of members and visitors taking on the challenge of Narin & Portnoo.

Despite some testing conditions at times, there was plenty of good golf played across our Wednesday Open, Saturday Stableford and Donegal Town Hardware Single Stroke on Sunday.

Congratulations to all of last week’s winners and thank you to everyone who joined us on the links.

Our Ladies welcomed Ballyliffin Golf Club to Narin & Portnoo Links on Sunday for the Máire O’Donnell match.

After a closely fought contest and some excellent golf throughout the afternoon, Ballyliffin came away with the win despite our ladies securing two matches on the day.

A huge thank you to Ballyliffin for making the trip and for playing the match in such great spirit. We wish you the very best in the next round and look forward to welcoming you back to Narin & Portnoo in the future.

Just over a week ago, we welcomed to Narin & Portnoo Links for our Ulster Four Ball home fixture.

Following a fantastic day and warm hospitality at Royal Belfast the previous weekend, it was our turn to return the favour. A closely contested match was played in great spirit throughout, with plenty of laughs, friendly rivalry & good craic along the way.

We’re delighted to have come away with the win, but more importantly it was another great day of golf between two clubs with a lot of respect for one another.

A sincere thank you to everyone from Royal Belfast for making both legs of the fixture so enjoyable. We look forward to seeing you all again soon. ⛳️

Last weekend we welcomed a wonderful group of visitors from the USA who brought a little piece of golf history with them. ⛳️

Playing with traditional hickory clubs, some dating back to the early 1900s, the group took on Narin & Portnoo Links much as golfers would have done over a century ago.

It was a pleasure to see golf’s rich heritage out on the links and to share the experience with such enthusiastic visitors.

We hope to welcome you all back to Donegal again soon.

A great afternoon of golf at Narin & Portnoo Links yesterday as our Donegal Seniors Fourball team welcomed ⛳️

It was a close match with plenty of tight contests across the course and everything still to play for as the final groups made their way in. Back in the clubhouse, players and supporters gathered to follow the scores, waiting to see how it would all unfold.

In the end, Narin & Portnoo secured a 3½ to 1½ victory, but credit must go to North West Golf Club for a competitive match played in great spirit throughout.

Thank you to all of the North West team for making the trip and for a thoroughly enjoyable day. We wish you all the very best for the rest of the season.

It was a pleasure to welcome Declan Convery and his group to Narin & Portnoo Links for their annual golf trip. ⛳️

Three days of golf, plenty of laughs and a healthy dose of friendly rivalry along the way. The much-anticipated Ireland vs England match went right down to the wire, with everyone keeping a close eye on the scores on the final day.

We hope to see you all back on the links next year for another memorable trip.

The Trunk Group from Pennsylvania were looking the part on the links today ⛳️

Before heading out onto the course, the ladies stopped by the Pro Shop and picked up matching Narin & Portnoo Links jackets and caps, creating quite the team look for their round.

Travelling with as part of their Irish golf adventure, it was a pleasure to welcome them to Donegal. We hope you enjoyed your day on the links and made plenty of memories along the way.

Warm days, long evenings and plenty of golf on the links this week ⛳️

This was Wednesday evening as the sun began to drop over Narin Strand, casting long shadows across the dunes and fairways.

After a week of blue skies and sunshine, the course is looking its best heading into the Bank Holiday weekend.
