‘The choice is yours…’

And I mean it

But let me explain first🙌🏻

How many of you have said in January that they WILL change their lifestyle, that they will lose the extra pounds they’ve put on or simply follow through with being more active and eating healthier??

Now let’s compare this to how many people actually did what they said they will do?🤔

How many of you are still saying👇🏻

‘I’ll start tomorrow’

Time will come when you will have to stop overthinking and really work on making a change buuuuut

I used to set goals according to what outcome I wanted to see..

I spent too much time starting a resolution and then seeing myself back where I started..

And it just led to binary outcomes - you are either happy you were able to achieve your goal, or you're disappointed for not reaching the desired outcome..

➡️ With this traditional approach goal-setting rarely works. In fact less than 10% of people who set New Year’s resolutions for example, actually achieve them.

There is nothing more powerful than a changed mindset🧘‍♀️

Why?

The way you THINK influences how you FEEL, which in turn affects the actions you take.

Think about it…

I don't think doing the workout is the most challenging part...

But you have to have the right attitude to actually get up and do it.

Eating healthy isn't the hardest part...

Making better choices and preparing meals in advance is all about having the right mindset.

Dropping excuses isn't the hardest part...

It's about prioritizing discipline and consistency with the right mindset.

You get the point😉

My personal experience and all my time working with people who have weight and eating problems I truly believe that shifting your mindset is KEY to success.

To clarify, there is no quick fix or magic button...

A realistic attitude, practice, and good support are all necessary to get and keep your head straight.

Which might sound like a tough call…
..but you know from your own experience that just going on a diet isn't the answer.

Having a low protein diet might be what’s stopping you from getting the results you want💯

If you are looking to build muscle you must think of it’s recovery process which involves consuming protein, having good quality sleep, mobility, stretching, proper breathing techniques and massage❤️

When I build my meals first and foremost I focus on my protein source and build the rest around it😋

Oh GREAT! I’ve definitely overate!

Was this you this weekend?

It was beautiful

You had a great time

BUT in doing so you ate or drank a little too much..

Whoops 😬

Could you have stopped yourself?

Yes

But you made a conscious decision to enjoy the day and to think no fatloss this weekend

It would be so easy for you to restrict now, to pull down calories & to create extra energy expenditure

BUT, this is NOT how we work, this is not healthy for your body or your mind!

❌All that kind of thinking does is encourage the binge/ over-eat & restrict cycle

❌Using food as punishment

❌Torturing your body, creating guilt & a negative relationship with food

❌This is not who I am, this is not what I believe in & it is against MY values

So many times I had to remind myself of a few things

I am not that bikini competitor about to step on stage

I am not that girl that pulls down girls calories dangerously low for a quick fix

I am Nats 💁🏽‍♀️

The Coach who wants to live healthy & sustainably

The girl who does not believe in punishing yourself through food

I am the girl that promotes eating well & nourishing your body

That teaches other girls how to manage social situations & incorporate them into their lives

I am that Coach that believes in balance, enjoyment & fulfillment

And if at the weekend, you had a GREAT time, and have no regrets

Just jump straight back into your usual routine, nutrition & training protocols

No over-restriction, no amendments

As easy as it is to get sucked into that black hole of the warped fitness industry, just no

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but a fit lifestyle can include,

🥂Drinking

🕺🏻Nights out

🍔 Greasy takeaways

🌃 Late nights & sacrificed sleep

☕️ Skipping the gym to fit a coffee date in with a friend

I’m a fitness coach

The purpose of my work is to motivate people to engage in a fit lifestyle and set a good example

It doesn't mean, however, that I or any of my clients cannot do the above

For me, it’s teaching them to be adaptable so that they CAN do these things on occasion, if they want to (remember that everyone is different and some people might not find these things fun anyway)

We often hear the word 'balance' thrown around, but finding it isn't as straightforward as people think

However, it's important

If you woke up today feeling guilty for something you did this weekend…

Don’t be

It's all about returning to your usual routine when it's time, and taking a moment to appreciate the good time you had

No restrictions

No ‘making up for it’

No stress 😇

This could be you!❤️❤️

From the very beginning Chloe’s goals were clear!

👉 Improve her lifestyle
👉 Be consistent
👉 Improve her relationship with food
👉 Reduce body fat

She also has some very specific health goals which we are working on constantly.

So how did we achieve these results so far?
Over 10cm reduction at her waist, visible body changes, better energy levels and comfort.

We started with a slight calorie deficit based on her individual needs. We made sure she isn’t walking around hungry. We introduced some strength training and made a goal of being more active.

But Chloe knows that this is a journey that requires patience and time. So we are moving forward and making sure that we are enjoying this journey because health is everything!❤️
