Mullaghmore Sailing Club & Centre Ltd

Sixteen miles north of Sligo in the seaside village of Mullaghmore we sail and race cruisers and dinghies in beautiful Donegal Bay. The VIVO 600.

We offer adult & child sailing courses. Summer is our busiest season with courses, regattas and social nights MSC offers sailing courses to both adults and juniors. Other courses like diesel engines, VHF, pre-assessment, first aid, navigation are also available from time to time. We are also able to provide sailing for people with disabilities with a specially designated yacht.

And we’re off!

A fantastic start to the racing season last weekend with gentle winds, sunshine and a surprise visitor just off our finishing line (swipe to end to reveal) — the perfect welcome back to the season.

Racing returns again this Saturday with first gun at 2pm and taxis running from the pontoon from 1pm. We look forward to seeing everyone back on the water!

It was fantastic to welcome and the to Mullaghmore Sailign Club this weekend.

It was great to see the club being used to support such an important initiative focused on sustainability, conservation, and protecting the unique marine environment of Donegal Bay. Partnerships like these highlight the strong connection between our coastal community and the incredible wildlife on our doorstep.

A big thank you to Donegal Bay Trust and the Irish Whale & Dolphin Group for bringing people together to learn more about the rich biodiversity of our coastline — and for the work they continue to do in promoting awareness and conservation.

Fantastic day on the water for our New Members Day with close to 30 people turning out! 🌊☀️

There was a bit of a breeze about, but plenty of sunshine too, making for some great sailing and spotting a few true sailors along the way. Finished off the day perfectly with a couple of well-earned beers at the Pier Head 🍻
