Best of luck to our U’17 Boys competing in in Barcelona this weekend!! Thanks to coaches Máirtín & Cormac, manager Cara and all the parents travelling with them.

Group Stages are today and tomorrow, CCMC Green will be competing with teams from 🇮🇸 & 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, and CCMC White will be up against teams from 🇨🇭& 🇬🇧.

What a weekend for our U11 Mixed team at the Community Games National Finals

After a fantastic campaign, the team finished 4th in the country, competing against some outstanding opposition and representing Maigh Cuilinn with pride from start to finish

The players battled bravely in the semi-final, narrowly losing out to St Lazerians (Carlow) before facing a strong Carrickmacross-Corduff (Monaghan) side in the 3rd/4th playoff

While the results didn't go our way, the determination, teamwork, sportsmanship and heart shown by every player throughout the tournament was truly special. The experience gained and memories made will stay with them for a long time

A huge thanks to our coaches (Siobhán, Noelle and Paul), parents, supporters and everyone who helped and encouraged the team along the way

Cumann Cispheile Mhaigh Cuilinn will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday 26th of May 2026 at 8:00pm, upstairs at The Forge in Maigh Cuilinn village

The Club AGM will be followed immediately by the AGMs of the three core sections of the club (Youth Section, Women’s Section and Men’s Section)

This is an important evening for our club as we review the past year and make plans for the future. We strongly encourage all members - players, parents, coaches, and volunteers to attend and take part in shaping the continued development of basketball in our community

If any member wishes to raise a topic or concern at the AGM, please email it in advance to [email protected]
