Having swore blind I'd take a rest from the racing until March, and then the GF rocks up and surprises me with a trip away to Istanbul with friends on one condition... ( I get back for Valentines πŸ’ πŸ˜†)

I stepped into this race to purely use it as a strong training session and thankfully everything fell into place ( apart from the WBs... ) but I certainly won't complain winning my AG three races running with another 58.33.

Next stop - Glasgow for the birthday. Thank you to everyone for all your support along this journey that just seems like a dream.

Absolutely beaming with tonight's race & taking the victory in a tough race....

I came in with a plan, changed up a few things and the ex*****on paid off. BUT and I will emphasise that word BUT- It doesn't always go to plan and you've got to have a high level of acceptance when you run a sh*tty race or fail on the final furlong!

That's how you improve as an overall athlete! You head back to the drawing board, you plan your work and you work your plan!

So basically the moral of this post is that we've gotta be humble in this crazy HYROX sport & look forward to the next instead of drowning our sorrows on the past.

Next stop - Turin next Friday ( singles pro ) & Saturday with the pocket rocket πŸš€ ❀️
