Letโs be real, itโs been a crazy few months!! In fact I bet that many of you are in a completely different place than you were March 2020๐ค๐โโ๏ธ
Iโm sure you have a different view of fitness and health right nowโฆ maybe you no longer are happy with where you are, and maybe your diet isnโt where it was? Maybe you have fell off the wagon, or maybe now you have decided to now make your health a priority?
Personally, I am not where I was I am not as fit right now and I havenโt been prioritising my own health enough. I have struggled postpartum with time, mentality and sleep๐
Training has been sporadic and my diet all over the place.. I was feeling down about it all, but then I had a little pep talk with myselfโฆ. Why get upset, this is a lifestyle
There will be busy moments, holidays, babies, work deadlines, family commitments, exams and apparently even global lock downs๐ฆ๐ Everyone has off days/ weeks/ months..
This isnโt some short term mix, this is your health! You canโt hide under a rock, brush it under the carpet foreverโฆ you must at some point make the decision to do something to look after that body of yours!
Iโm not perfect, Iโm the same as you! But Iโm going to now get back to prioritising my health. You are no go to anyone else if you donโt look after your own health first! (Thereโs a reason why you must put on your own oxygen mask first on airplanes!)
Just a post to remind you that if you think you are failing at fitness, you are not! You just needed a little reminder to call it back, and unpause your journey! This is a lifestyle, there will be ups and downs and if you were looking for a sign to start THIS IS IT!!!!
