Hi everyone,
its been a difficult decision but for now Mountmellick athletics cannot resume training. Its with a heavy heart we say this but at current we have not enough coaches to comply with regulations. We therefore need a new chairperson as at present the club hasn't got one and more coaches. We will automatically allow this years membership to carry over to 2021. We apologise for this but its out of our hands.

Mountmellick athletic club which is established over 100 years, is currently looking for the following **A NEW CHAIRMAN** also
SENIOR AND JUNIOR COACHES
What is involved?
We are a volunteer group who meet and train ages from 5 years upwards. We train usually twice a week. You do not need to have an athletic background to be a assistant coach, its fun easy with training given.
If you would like to help out with the club please private mail us here. We depend on coaches to help this maintain this club.

Well Done to all Who took part and donated to . As you can see there was a massive amount of money donated and many miles were covered in Laois by members of each of the county’s Athletic Clubs. Massive thanks to Mary Mulhare Portlaoise Athletic Club for all her hard work in organising the venture.

Combined effort from the Coss Family This morning for Do It For Dan collectively clocking almost 45kms. Ellen walked 5km, Luke walked 5 Km David ran 5 km Jake ran 5 Km and Noel Ran 24.15 Kms Thanks to Laois Athletics and Mary Mulhare for organising the fundraiser.
