Such devastating news for our rings family. Anto was an absolute gentleman and it was always a pleasure to be in his company. He will be sorely missed. Thinking of all Anto’s family at this hard time ❤️
Yesterday, we lost one of the good ones with the untimely and unexpected passing of our dear friend Anthony 'Anto' O'Brien.
Anto loved his rings and no matter where a tournament or fundraiser or memorial was being held, you were bound to see Anto there laughing and smiling from cheek to cheek. And more often than not, he came home with some silverware in tow for his collection.
Anto will be sorely missed by everyone near and far and Wicklow Rings just won't be the same without you. A big hole has been left in all our hearts with the loss of a pure gentleman.
Our thoughts go out to Ali, Cathal, Aaron and his extended family and friends at this heartbreaking time.
