Our U14’s were out tonight against Blarney Utd. A few enforced changes due to injury and suspension saw us start slowly. This led to Blarney taking a 1-0 lead with a scrappy goal. We started to play some really good football but just couldn’t unlock the Blarney defence. Into the second half and same thing, we couldn’t break Blarney down. An opportune goal midway through the second half saw Blarney take all 3pts. A tough week for the lads and a tough start to Div 1. Thanks to James McNamara for coming up from the 13’s. We’ll regroup and go again Sunday. 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬

Our u13 girls kicked off their league campaign away to Lakewood this evening. We had a small squad of 13 due to injury and illness.
We went 1 up after 10 mins when Lauren Daly played in Sarah Howard who unleashed a powerful strike. Some strong goalkeeping from Lakewood kept it at 1-0 at the break.
We continued in the same vein in the second half with some excellent passing of the ball. Saoirse Horgan played a great pass across the box and Lucy Thornton slotted home from a tight angle.
With 10 minutes left, we had our best passage of play with 4 players combing to play us out from the back and again Saoirse Horgan played a great pass across the 18 yard box to Lucy Thornton who controlled the ball superbly and struck the bottom corner.

A great team effort tonight and huge thanks to our u12 players Abby Yelverton and Norah Finn who stepped in to support the squad at short notice

Result this evening away to Inishvilla where Park Div 2 U12 boys won 2-1 In a frantic fixture on a very tight Astro with strong winds also. Scorers were Odhran Keane pen in first half and Dylan Kelly strike early in the second. We settled then really into some nice football on the deck. Villa scored in the last few seconds. Delighted for the boys to come out of a difficult away fixture with a win on the road.

Our U16 girls took an injury ravaged squad to ringmahon rangers this morning in the cup. Fielding only 9 players, the girls played absolutely brilliantly but succumbed to a 3:1 defeat in the end. Unlucky to go into half time 2:1 down, Ruby Yelverton equalised for park after going 1 down early on first half, but RingMahon scored with a skived looping shot right on half time. Park were in no way out matched and hit the bar twice in the game but very much tired as the game went on. A valiant effort by all 9 players

The U11s. Had a home friendly this morning against Youghal. Another fine display by the lads. Final score 6-3 to Park. Thank you to Fin Kennedy for playing up from the u10s. Goals from Andrew Kralikas, Finn McCormack,Sean O'Brien x2 Cillian O Duinnin x2.

U14 division 7 result Park utd B 3 Fermoy A 3. First game of the season in a wet and windy brigown, despite playing well 3 nil down at half time. 2nd half showed an improved defensive display and better finishing leading to 2 good team goals both scored by Bobby Walsh, and a long range goal from Billy Roche. We had chances to win it but ended in a draw. Great performance from the all the lads.

U12 Div 2 result 3-0 to Park v Everton away. Scorers Tom Dawson x 2 and Brendan Slattery x 1. Great first day out for the boys, worked their socks off mixed with some lovely football.

U14 Girls exited the cup today with a 5-0 defeat away to a strong Midleton side. The girls played some excellent football, especially in the first half where they had most of the possession, but Midleton were clinical with their chances. After many of the squad had attended the North Cork Football trials earlier in the day and with only one substitute available, the girls worked tirelessly and never gave up. Eva Dawson was unlucky not to score when her superb effort struck the crossbar. The scoreline doesn't reflect the effort, commitment, and quality of football shown by the team, particularly in the first half.
