Action for the 2026 All-Irelands held in Kingscourt ⭐️

Well done to Dara McNamara and Thea Coleman who both competed at the highest level in the All-Irelands this weekend

Unfortunately this was not their weekend both qualifying for the Open semi-finals and missing out by margins, but some fantastic performances throughout the day 🙌🏻

In the doubles, Thea Coleman teamed up with Cara Delaney (Galmoy) and lost out narrowly in the tiebreaker 12-10 to the champions

Dara McNamara teamed up with Noel O Callaghan (Fermoy) in Men’s Open doubles and brought home silver after a thrilling final 🥈
Well done Dara 🤩

Well done to both on their performances qnd a massive thanks to everyone who made the weekend possible

Our father - daughter duo travelled up to Mayo this weekend for the Castlebar Open 2026 🙌🏻

And they were ⭐️ UNSTOPPABLE ⭐️

Belle O’Meara won the novice singles division! 🏆 Her first novice win earning her promotion to the next grade! She had a long road to the final with 3 games leading up to the decider which took place Sunday! Belle went down 2-0 but with some determination she brought it back and won the tie-breaker to finish 3-2 👏🏻 we are super proud of this young lady who definitely has a bright future ahead of her ⭐️

Alan also shined winning the Men’s B division on the Saturday, first tournament back at it may we add 🤭 Well done Alan, great to see you recovered and back on the court 👊🏻

Fantastic weekend away, thanks to all for a brilliantly organised tournament 💙

The Irish Junior Open was held this weekend in Wexford and we had 4 of our juniors compete on the day 💙

All our girls represented the club outstandingly and we couldn’t be prouder of them 🏆

Results as follows:
🥈Eorann Donegan was runner-up in her age category after a number of fantastic performances over the day! She took a game off her opponent in the final, and missed out after 4 close games 3-1

🥇Eva Horgan won her division with confidence, fantastic performances throughout the day!

💙Belle O’Meara fell short on her first round game but went on to defeat clubmate Sadhbh Donegan in the plate final 2-1 tiebreaker! Both girls performed fantastically

Well done to all involved and to for another fantastic season

This weekend the Kilkenny Open took place. Two club members, Dara McNamara and Eva Horgan travelled to compete

Both represented the club fantastically and we are very proud of them

Dara McNamara made history winning his first ever Open at only 20 years old 🏆

We are delighted for him, first of many!

This weekend at the Junior Even All Ireland’s we had two members travel to Kilkenny.

Eva Horgan (U14) and Belle O Meara (U16) put in a super performance and we are very proud of them

Eva took home gold 🥇on the day, well done Eva!

Well done to Dara McNamara and Thea Coleman who represented Team Ireland in the 2025 European Championships held in Zurich Switzerland ☘️🇮🇪

Both put on fantastic performances taking home three medals each!

First up was the team event which both represented the country in the doubles competition. Thea was partnered up with Aisling Hickey winning all their games coming home with gold 🥇. Dara was partnered up with Reece Young who also won out all their games but narrowly missed out to Germany on points taking home silver 🥈

They teamed up in mixed doubles taking down Italy 🇮🇹 3-0 first to progress to what was a fantastic display of racquetball in the quarter final against Ernesto Ruiz and Yvonne Mesecke from Germany 🇩🇪 winning 3-1. They played Mark Murphy and Katie Kenny from Ireland in the semis but missed out on a place in the final. Taking home bronze 🥉

🥈Dara took home a silver medal in Men’s open doubles with his partner Reece Young (Arklow) in a thrilling final vs Germany 🇩🇪

🥉Thea took home bronze in the women’s open singles after a fantastic quarter final to qualify for the semis

Well done to both!

Best of luck to club members Dara McNamara and Thea Coleman who will compete in the 2025 European Championships in Zurich Switzerland 🇮🇪

Both will represent Team Ireland in the doubles division.
They will then compete in Open singles and team up in mixed doubles for the individual event beginning Friday
