Really disappointing finish to our day today at the Lakeland forest 😢

Good effort was put in and and we sat 15th overall after the last stage. Unfortunately, after the flying finish we got caught out and could go no further 🙁

Thanks to all that helped after our mishap, especially to the young gent that went fishing for parts 😅

Thanks to all volunteers and Enniskillen motor club for running a great event. The stages were super enjoyable and hopefully we get to see them again next year😎

So I had a very unexpected day today at the Mayo autocross event... All I wanted to do was to make sure I stayed ahead of John McCabe. But not only did I do that, I bet everyone else that was there too 😎🤣

I started off the day a bit sloppy with penalties but the pace was still there from the get go. The car felt good and I knew I had to have a tidy final run to get some sort of top result. Little did I think I'd get the overall win 🏆🥇🤗

Thrilled is an understatement and hopefully I bring the same pace and confidence with me to the next event.

Well done to John for putting in serious times for his first time to ever drive an R5 and do the event.

Big thanks to Shay Mccann and James for today's mechanics and CMC Motorsport for prepping the car.

Mayo forest rally - Finished 12th overall and no harm done is always a good day 😅
Savage stages, very brave committed stuff. Well done Mayo motorclub for choosing well and running such a great event 👏🏻

Bit more confidence made in the car today. Great to get a feel for it again.
