Roger Albert Clark Rally 2023.... what a grueling event.
Well done to everyone that took part.

A special congratulations to Marty McCormack and Barney Mitchell who are winners again for the 4th time!
This is very special for us as the McCormack team entrusted us to supply the main key components like…

- ZF Gearbox (one gearbox was used for the full event)
- Atlas axle
- Front and rear suspension
- Steering rack
- Cross member
- Front and Rear Brakes etc etc

Testament to a Fantastic driver and team around the crew.

Also, well done to Cathan McCourt and Liam Moynihan, finishing second overall on their first attempt, an unbelievable achievement. We’re delighted to play a small part in there result by rebuilding their gearbox prior to the rally.

Craig Breen… Where do we start. It goes all the way back to you being a toddler jumping the steps in Slieverue in your yellow Kettler pedal kart and travelling with us in the transit following your dad in the metro.

Your passion and determination to succeed was nothing short of magnificent. The love for the sport and older generations cars could be seen from a very early stage, when you decided to turn your garden shed into a rally hall of fame.

Our thoughts and prayers go to Ray, Jackie, Kellie, Darragh, Bobbie & his navigators Paul and James

Another throw back. This time to the 2019 Roger Albert Clark Rally where Marty McCormack and Barney Mitchell took the overall win.

Unfortunately due to the RAC and the Killarney Historics scheduled only a few days apart we weren't able to make it to the event physically, but telephone back up was provided throughout the event and this worked to perfection.

There was plenty of hours preparation put in for the McCormack team in Millstreet prior to the event. Which included, ZF gearbox rebuilds, atlas axle rebuilds, all new suspension, brakes etc, etc.

We were delighted to see this team win the 300 stage miles event and the only issue was a small bit of play in the steering rack and a misfire. This was Marty's record breaking third time winning the event with all John Moynihan Rallying components.

After such a marathon event, on rebuilding the axle and gearbox, they only needed routine maintenance, no breakages or damage associated with 300 stage miles event, a Testament to a Fantastic driver.

Throw back to a year ago where Colin and Eddie put their JDK Sport Rally Hire Es**rt to the test on the famous Gortnagane stage.

This was the first event for the new car using, front and rear brakes, front steering assembly and complete atlas axle supplied by us.

Very strange not to be loading vans and heading to Killarney today.

Here's a look back to just some of the cars we prepared for the event over the last 3 years.
