Rolling Start Week 7 🥋

Starting a roll is one of the hardest parts of the match for beginners to get their head around, so last night we covered a takedown option and a guard pull option.

We also spent time on falling safely and taking care of your training partner. Super important for longevity in the sport - look after each other and you’ll be on the mats for years.

Awesome work everyone! See you on Thursday.

Big well done to Keith on his blue belt today!

It was a pleasure to promote him - a great guy on and off the mats and someone who puts a lot of time and energy into helping the rest of the team! That matters as much as anything in Jiujitsu.

Thursday night Gi crew 🤝

Another great session starting a block on collar and sleeve guard, with loads of good rounds to finish.

Want to give Jiu Jitsu a go in East Cork? DM us and we’ll sort you out from there 📥

Last night’s Teens Jiujitsu crew T45 Jiujitsu - BJJ East Cork 🔥

Over 20 on the mats on a Wednesday night. This group just keeps growing, and it’s great to see the friendships carry on and off the mats as much as the Jiujitsu.

We run Teens classes (13–17) Monday, Wednesday and Friday, so there’s plenty of classes to train with people your own age.

Thinking about starting? Send us a DM and we’ll get you sorted 🥋
