A very special day for the Golden Gloves Boxing Club as we welcome the Dillon Quirke Foundation for a cardiac screening for youths from our own club Golden Gloves Boxing Club Belmullet , Official Erris United FC/Iorras Aontaithe and Erris Shamrocks GAA.

45 young people will be screened today as part of this nationwide campaign by the Tipperary based foundation, helping to detect any cardiac abnormalities.

This is an outstanding service to the young people of Ireland and we are just thrilled to have the Foundation in Belmullet today.

A special word of thanks also goes to the Broadhaven Bay Hotel for kindly providing their excellent facilities for today's event. We truly appreciate your generosity and ongoing support of our local community.

Days like today remind us that boxing is about much more than sport—it's about looking after one another, supporting our young people, and putting their health and wellbeing first.

Thank you to everyone who helped make today such a success. Together, we're building a stronger, safer future for our athletes.

We had the pleasure of being asked to Inver National School as part of Active School Week.

We hope the children and teachers gained some knowledge from us about our sport.

Coaches Matthew and James,(and helper Casey)were very impressed with the behavior and attitude of all the children and even more impressed with the talent and ability all the children possessed!

We would like to sincerely thank Inver N.S for the invitation and their kindness shown to us

Hopefully we will see some of them in the ring pretty soon 🥊🥊🥊
