As a group we welcome all levels of cyclists from beginners to experienced cyclists. We cater for all abilities through our colour spin groups from beginners (white group) to experienced (red group)

It is your responsibility to select a colour group to suit your ability and to ensure you are not dropped from a colour group. If in doubt consult a member of the club for advice

We meet every Sunday morning at 9am in Jacks Old Cottage, Islandeady Castlebar - F23 AW97 throughout the year for the weekly group cycle. We also host a series of Turbo frame spinning sessions for both beginners and improvers. We are always looking for new members to take on the great sport that is cycling. If you would like to join us feel free to drop us a message here on Facebook and we will answer any queries you may have. For all group cycles you must be a member of cycling Ireland www.cyclingireland.ie/ and take out personal insurance. To join us on a Sunday cycle you must be a member of our Club. Everyone is responsible for their own cycling ability and selecting a colour group to suit their ability, road worthiness of their bike and cycling equipment and above all their own safety whilst cycling. We strongly recommend you study and abide by the rules of the road. Hi all relay for life is taking place on the Mall in Castlebar this weekend. Starting Saturday and running until 5pm on Sunday. If you are free and want to join the walk the club would like as many as possible to represent our club. You can walk as long as you wish. Ideally if we have enough numbers we could spread it over the 24 hours what ever times suits. 2/3/4 could walk together and hopefully have a few groups. If you would like to join let me know here and we can work out times and how many together based on numbers. At the moment we have 3 walking @ 8.30 on Saturday evening. Donations can be made on the evening if you want to donate.

Brendan Henaghan cycle takes place this Sunday 12th April. 2 distances will roll out from Jacks Old Cottage F23AW97 @9.30. Registration from 8.30 to 9.00pm. 40 and 80kms on offer with water stops on route and tea, coffee and goodies awaits all cyclists on your return.

A great result Which seen her race in Belfast ,Wicklow,limerick and the final round held in ballinasloe last Sunday ..
Next up is national championships this weekend in castleSaunderson Co Cavan ..
with Trevor also racing in the men’s ..
