A super Sunday of Gaelic Games activity.. An early morning run out for Kilmoremoy LGFA Senior team with a solid performance in near perfect conditions v Swinford Killasser LGFA, taking the Win at full time in the senior County challenge game at Swinford Amenity park

And I was delighted to be asked to take a coaching session for Swinford killasser LGFA u12 panel this evening who put in a good hour of training again at amenity Park..

Track work and football training in ballina today..
@ Belleek running track--5 k time trials for my group of runners.
Plyometric session before hand
10 broadjumps
10 single leg bounds. X 3 Sets
10 squat jumps
10 power lunges
Reaction work for speed development
10M T - Sprints x 6.. 3 cutting left, 3 cutting right
Mini Conditioning circuit to finish
10 weighted squats with bands
10 shoulder Taps with bands. X 3 sets
10 split squats
10 banded glute bridges.

Running Session 1 of the week completed at Swinford amenity park
This evenings session :
10x 80m sprints ( increasing pace by 2 sec per run)
10 x 100m sprints.. Done from 15 sec for 14yr old to 17 secs and 20 secs for both 11 & 9 Yr old
5 min running specific drills - linear A- skips, Strides, lateral A skips, crossovers x 3 sets
6 x 100m sprints as above👆
Finished with raised heel banded squats, 10 x 3 sets, & split squats 10(5 each side) x 3 sets..
