Summer Sup & Kayak School is a stand up paddle boarding & kayaking school based on the protected beach of Old Head in Co. Located 5 mins from Louisburgh and 15 mins from Westport on the Wild Atlantic Way. We are on the beach everyday from May until the end of Sept with a full range of sup & kayaking activities.

🌊 SALTWATER SESSIONS CLEW BAY – IS NEXT WEEKEND! 🌊
We’d love to see loads of people come out and help us close out summer 2026! Most events are free, with donations going to our local RNLI lifeboat crew ❤️

🏄 Elite SUP Race – competitors coming from all over Ireland, the UK & further afield. Come watch the pros!
🏄 Amateur SUP Race + 🏐 Volleyball Comp – still a few spaces, so book online! 2 SUP packages for the winning volleyball team 🏆
🧘 Sunday SUP Yoga – limited spaces, book me on 086 259 7688 (free, donations welcome).
🚶 Walks & talks all weekend – just follow the timetable/map and turn up.

🎭 Saturday Fancy Dress Pier Jump!
Races finish as the RNLI boat arrives, then we jump! Best-dressed prize — Marilyn Monroe theme 😂💃 Plus race prizes!

🔥 BBQ on the pier Saturday + food all weekend 🍔
🎶 Local music, dancers & loads of atmosphere around the pier/beach.

👕 We’ve also got Saltwater Sessions sweaters for sale at Summer SUP — cash only, with some proceeds going to the RNLI, so bring a few quid for the cause ❤️

It’s all local, all for a great cause and all a bit of craic! It’s you who makes the atmosphere so come on down.
