Major Champion in the house! 🤩

The Golf Ireland Tent at the Amgen Irish Open has been busy the last few days, but never busier than yesterday when Padraig Harrington stopped by to put on a show for the fans! 🙌

Golf Ireland CEO Mark Kennelly welcomed our special guest, who was as gracious as ever with his time, signing autographs for golfers young and old and posing for photographs, either side of his exhibition, which was mc'd by Shane O'Donoghue 🎤

What a memorable experience for everyone present!

☘️ Men progress to the final! 🇦🇹

Our Men's Team are through to the final of the European Mid-Amateur Men's Team Championship after an impressive victory over Finland today.

There were foursomes wins for the pairings of David Kitt & David Howard and Keith Egan & Gerard Dunne, before Egan followed up with the decisive point in his singles match 👏

Tomorrow we take on home favourites Austria in the final! 🤞🏆

Meanwhile, it wasn't to be for our Women's Team who lost out a tightly fought contest 3-2 to Spain in their European Mid-Amateur Ladies' Team Championship semi-final that featured a play-off and three 1UP wins 🤯

Tomorrow we'll face France in the third place play-off 🥉

On Thursday our Women's Social Golf Community are heading to Co. Cavan Golf Club for a Driving Range Experience ⛳

On the night, attendees can socialise and have some fun whilst practicing their skills at the Co. Cavan Driving Range. Music and nibbles will be provided, whilst there will also be a number of our PGA Professional coaches on hand to help you get the most out of your experience.

We were delighted to welcome pupils from St. Joseph's Secondary School Spanish Point and St. Michael's Community College to the Golf Ireland Tent at the Amgen Irish Open, as part of a behind the scenes look at the many careers on show at a tour event.

We hope to see some of these pupils working in golf in years to come! 🤞

☘️ Double tops for Ireland! 🔝

Both our Women's and Men's teams have progressed through Stroke Play Qualifying in first place at the European Mid-Amateur Team Championships in Austria! 👏

Special mention to Jessica Ross who ended the stroke play stage atop the standings on -9, the only player under par and nine strokes clear of the field 👏

Tomorrow our Women's Team face Spain in their Flight A Semi-Final, whilst the Men's Team are up against Finland 🤝 🇪🇸 🇫🇮
