To all the dads doing their best to break generational trauma — keep going.
My princess is 173 days old.
I’ve had the privilege of seeing her for less than 50 of those days.
I don’t share that for sympathy.
I’m not sharing it to point fingers.
I share it because there are men out there who desperately want to be present fathers, but don’t always get the opportunity to be as present as they’d like.
And that can be incredibly difficult.
But we still have a choice in the men we become.
Keep showing up.
Keep doing the work.
Keep working on yourself.
Keep becoming the father your children deserve.
You can’t always control the circumstances.
You can control the standard you hold yourself to.
To every dad quietly doing his best — keep going. ❤️
