Come and join us this Easter Weekend in the beautiful village of Dromahair to celebrate 30 years of The Leitrim Hill Walking Festival! Although Saturday’s Medium Walk is already fully booked out, there is still time to book your place on the 12-13km walk up to the top of Keelogyboy Mountain where you’ll get fantastic views of Croghan Mountain, King’s Mountain and Glencar Lake as you traverse the plateau. And, there are still a few spots left for the Easter Sunday Walk from the Greenway Dromahair to the Lake Isle of Innisfree Jetty – about 14km in total but, there is of course an option to turn this into a shorter walk with guides on hand to bring any participants back that would prefer a shorter distance.
Don't forget that, included in your ticket price, there will be tea, coffee and scones before the walks on Saturday and Sunday and an extra treat of soup and brown bread after Sunday’s walk all provided by The Riverbank Restaurant. If you feel like treating yourself to a delicious dinner at The Riverbank Restaurant on Saturday evening, don't forget to check out the website: https://www.leitrimhillwalking.org for more information, to book your event tickets and to book your spot at the dinner table! But, don’t dilly-dally as spaces are filling up fast!
