The last man standing is Mr Liam Dowling.
The calf has defeated the bull just like David slayed Goliath just like forrest smashed Liverpool. Liam has defeated his father Joe in an epic last man standing competition. Liam who is currently residing in Australia working on a dingo farm will be sent his money today. Thanks to all that entered, you don't know much these little competitions mean to the club both mens and womens teams get all there balls and bibs, cones etc big thanks to John O Dweyer for organising them and we will start another round shortly ❤️

Venue and kick off time has changed for our quater final match vs Corkbeg this Sunday. Banteer astro 6.15 pm if it ends in a draw there will be extra time and we have to pay extra for the lights, so don't be surprised to see Tommy throw one in in the 93rd minute for the good of the club.

A huge congratulations to our stalwart right back Conor Cronin on his graduation. Conor has been with us since the club reformed 4 years ago as our youngest player and has gone on to play more games for Boher than anyone else. Conor is loved in the dressing room by players and coaches on and off the field. Any team or company would be instantly uplifted by his presence and we wish him all the best in his career ❤️.

MATCH REPORT
Rathcormac vs Boher Celtic
A historic fixture since we reestablished the club and this one was no different. Both teams had the bare 11 due to our oppositions success in hurling and some of our players having commitments with there partners for the bank holiday. This is why the gaffer wants his players single, loose and not tied down on match days. Rathcormac took the lead on the stroke of halftime with a corner. The second half boher had all the possession but couldn't break down the rathcormac defence. On the 70th minute Conor O Riordan started playing for the opposition threading beautiful passes into rathcormacs star striker on multiple occasions even the ref had to tell him cop on. In the closing stages as boher pushed for an equaliser rathcormac scored the winner in a fast counter attack to leave boher tasting defeat for the 1st game in 5 to wipe the taste of bierra morretti out of there gobs. Always positives to take Mark DINEEN quickly becoming one of the best centre backs in the league along with a top keeper performance from Tommy. We also welcomed back Mike og who got his 1st start since his leg break earlier in the year but after that performance he can take another few months off 🤣 Final score a deserved 2 0 to rathcormac our focus turns to a cup quater final this Sunday vs corkbeg
