Avondale 4 Boher 2.
On Wednesday the 8th, Boher travelled to Avondale for a 1st division clash.
The game was played at a great pace despite the hot conditions. Both teams, low on numbers, contributed to a fantastic contest.
The game started with chances for both but Avondale struck first with a well worked goal. Boher responded when a brilliant ball from Amy-lee found Natalie in the box, who made no mistake and added to her goal tally. 1 1 HT.
The second half started with the same intensity with both sides showing quality. Avondale added another goal to make it 2 1 and made it 3 when they converted a penalty.
Boher never let their heads drop and through a very well worked sequence, Amy Green got her first for Boher with a goal of the year contender.
Both teams kept pushing until the end. 4 2. FT.

Lots of debuts for Boher recently and lots of super development. Having started the season as a mix of two teams, these girls are really gelling and showing they aren't far off the standard. ⚽️
