Finally getting a chance to look back on what was a fantastic and hugely successful week for our junior players at the Malahide Junior Open!

🏆 Senan Taylor was crowned Boys U12 Singles Champion
🏆 Patricia Chen took the Girls U14 Singles title
🏆 Rafa Nagle was victorious in the Boys U14 Singles

There was even more success in the doubles, with Senan and Rafa both taking home titles in their respective categories. Senan teamed up with Richie Kennedy, while Rafa partnered with Sam Irwin.

There were also plenty of other fantastic performances from our juniors throughout the week, so a massive well done to everyone who competed and represented the club! 👏

🎾 Our very own Michael Beglan is off on another amazing tennis adventure! 🇮🇪

This time, Michael is heading to Flushing Meadows, where he has been invited to compete in the US Open Para-Standing Tennis Invitational — one of just 16 players from 12 different countries invited to take part! 🌎🎾

We wish Michael the very best of luck. What an incredible experience it should be — enjoy every minute, Michael! 👏🇮🇪

Summer Club Championship Finals & At Home 🎾

Saturday 12th of September is set to be one of the highlights of our Club calendar.

Join us for the Summer Championships Finals and then stay on for our traditional At Home — with food, drinks and live music in the bar.

You absolutely don’t need to have played in the Championships to come along. This is for the whole Club!

We had a fantastic weekend celebrating our juniors at the Malahide Junior Club Championships! 🎾🏆
Alongside some brilliant junior matches, we also enjoyed a Generation Game Junior/Senior event and a One Point Tournament.
It was terrific to see so many of our young players competing, showing not only some great tennis, but also fantastic sportsmanship, enthusiasm and respect for one another. 👏

🎾 Congratulations to our brilliant juniors! 🎾

What an amazing week at Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis Club for the Junior Lawn Championships of Ireland, the most prestigious junior tournament of the year! 🏆

A huge congratulations to Senan Taylor, who came out on top in an all-Malahide final against Robert Duggan to win the U12 Boys’ Singles title! Senan also took home the U12 Boys’ Doubles title with his partner, Richie Kennedy. 🏆👏

Another fantastic performance from Patricia Chen, who was runner-up in the U12 Girls’ Singles final and she also won the U12 Girls’ Doubles with her partner, Saki Mishima. 👏🎾

Some incredible performances and achievements from all our juniors. Huge congratulations to Senan, Patricia and Robert — you should all be very proud! 💙🎾

🎾 Malahide Tennis Club couldn’t be prouder! 🎾

We are immensely proud of Senan Taylor and Robert Duggan, who will face each other tomorrow in the Boys U12 Final of the years most prestigious junior tournament at Fitzwilliam. 🏆

What an incredible achievement for both boys to reach this stage — and to have two Malahide players competing against each other in the final makes it all the more special. 👏🎾

We’re also incredibly proud of Patricia Chen, who will compete in the Girls U12 Final tomorrow. 💪🎾
