This week is World Orienteering Week and Bike Week, and we’re celebrating with a fantastic FREE orienteering event at Malahide Castle! Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, there are levels for everyone to enjoy.
While you're welcome to run the course, we’re encouraging everyone to hop on their bikes to celebrate Bike Week in style! 🚴♀️✨ It’s a great way to explore the beautiful castle grounds, test your navigation skills, and enjoy the fresh air.
Event Highlights:Cost: Completely FREE!
Levels: Options for all abilities, from beginner-friendly to more experienced routes.
Where: Malahide Castle (look for the Family Fun Day hub on the lawn).
When: This Sunday, May 17th, as part of the grand finale of Bike Week!

BIKE WEEK | FREE FAMILY FUN DAY: Bike Week 2026 in Fingal finishes up with our annual Malahide Family Fun Day on the Lawn at The Castle on Sunday May 17th.
The Day kicks off at 11am with a family yoga session with Claire, throughout the day we have free bike repair, Pedal powered cycling games, a pop up BMX Skills track, a pop up aquarium, information on composting, energy saving advice and family movies on the Lawn.
This year we'll be showing The Lorax at 2pm and Zootopia 2 at 4pm.
All activities are free of charge, so just turn up on the day and enjoy the bike week fun
