I am extremely proud to announce that after 15 years of studying Shotokan Karate, I am finally opening my own Dojo.
I began karate at the age of 9 years old while attending an Educate Together School just down the road from the current one I am setting up in. This life changing decision completely altered the direction of my life. I have come a long way since starting as a white belt, to now being a 3rd Dan Black Belt. In that time, I have achieved more than I could have ever expected. From winning and maintaining my All-Ireland National title for over a Decade, to travelling all over the world as a member of the Irish National Team. I have competed in several European and World Championships all around the globe. My most notable achievements being that I maintained my University Sports Scholarships throughout my 5 years of Architecture Studies and winning the World Shotokan Karate Federation World Cup in 2018.
I am thankful to now be in a position in my life where I can give back to my community by helping teach karate and show others what it can do for them. Within Chiri Dojo you will learn the martial arts way of respect, discipline, and self-defence. While improving fitness, flexibility, and self-confidence.
Please join me and see what benefits karate can have for you.
