Delighted to have Chris Christophergetbetterwithchris and crew stay with us in Clondra on the journey South to North and then have the pleasure of running a few miles with him on his journey back North to South. He only has a few more days of the 70/80 km daily runs before he arrives back where he started at Mizen Head. THE FIRST PERSON IN THE WORLD TO ATTEMPT MIZEN TO MALIN TO MIZEN. And all in aid of family carers. He appreciates every bit of support he gets on the road and was blessed to have a few Brendan Doyle Runner's get him through Longford. Inspirational!!

Delighted to share a water/goodies stop and share a few miles on the canal and road today with The FTD Brothers - Jordan Adams and Brendan Doyle Running crew. Inspirational Day. Wherever you are in the country, try to get out and support these guys, Today was their 16th Irish marathon out of 32 consecutive marathons. Tomorrow is the turn of our neighbouring county, Roscommon.

The lovely Strokestown Park, only a few minutes drive away - Now dog frienly, just like Canal Stay!

Strokestown Park has seen a steady increase in four-legged friends at its grounds in recent years.
