Murrays Golf Society is for all levels of golfers in the Ballymahon and surrounding areas to play golf once a month in different golf courses through out the midlands.

The AGM is Saturday evening in Murrays Lounge at 7 o'clock. Everyone try to be there as golf outings for the year will be finalised

Well everyone just to let ye all know our Captains Day is Sunday 26th of October in Knightsbrook Golf Club in Trim Co. Meath. Price of golf will be 30 euro which includes a bacon bacon cooffee or tea. We will be having prize giving in Murrays Bar later on that evening with food as well. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.We need all memberships paid to compete for first prize. At moment only 8 has paid.

Well everyone our next outing is on the 9th of August in Moyvalley Golf Club. Tee time is from 11.30 to 12.15. Green fees will be 25 euro. Need to get numbers of who is playing to them before next Thursday. So can you let me know as soon as possible.

We had our outing in Glasson on Saturday morning. As usual Glasson was in great condition. The weather wasn't the best but that did not stop great scoring. 1st with 41 pts Tommy Lennon of 9, 2nd Eugene Murtagh with 38pts of 3 and 3rd was Pat Hughes with 36pts of 14. Visitors was won by James Kenny with 32 points of 18.
We all headed back to Murrays bar for BBQ and drinks. Thanks a million to Brídge &Tommy. Also thank you to Aiden and Berine Quinn for cooking the BBQ. A great night had by all. Our next outing will be in Moyvalley in August. Watch this space as more will follow

well everyone, our next golf outing is this Saturday in Glasson at 10am tee time. Green fees are 30 euro per person. There will be a BBQ Saturday evening in Murrays bar from 6.30 onwards with prize giving as well. Looking forward to seeing everyone there. Please contact me as soon as possible for tee time as have to let Glasson know on Thursday for numbers.

Well everyone next Saturday the 31st of May we are at esker hill golf club for our next outing. Tee time is from 11 to 11.45.
Green fees will be €25 per person. It will be a single stable ford. There will be 1st, 2nd & 3rd prizes. Please spread the word as need to have as many as possible. Looking forward to seeing everyone there

We would like to thank everyone that braved the elements today for our first outing of the year. The weather was poor for front nine but stayed dry for back nine. With tough conditions the scoring was very good.
First with 40 points was Eugene Murtagh playing of 5
Second with 39 points was Gerry McGrath playing of 22
Third with 38points was Philip Quinn playing of 6
Our nxt outing is in March in County Longford Golf Club.
Looking forward to seeing ye all there.
